12-Week Transformational Parenting Process


Week 1: Welcome

Week 1 is set aside to get to know each other and become familiar with the practice of setting intentions and reflecting on experiences.

Week 2: Setting Intentions as An Empowered parent

This week, we talk about active and reflective listening. We recognize your default patterns, and determine your current values. We set intentions for you, your children, and your family as a whole. I encourage you to ground into your strengths, support you in gathering resources, and believing in your own truth.

Week 3: The 10 Pillars of Transformational Parenting

This week is focused on connecting with the 10 Pillars of Transformationl Parenting. But it’s also super important because we discuss common parenting patterns and mistakes.

Week 4: Making Sense of Attachment Science

We explore the essence of attachment science along with it’s three common attachment styles.

Week 5: Making Sense of Nervous System Science

We dig into polyagal theory, explore practices to strengthen the vagal nerve, and identify sensory calming tools for you and your family. You learn how to ANCHOR into yourself during hard moments and create a safe HARBOR for your children. We acknowledge that ruptures happen and learn how to move forward when they do.

Week 6: Making Sense of Mindsight and Brain Science

Daniel Siegel describes midnight as one’s ability to “see inside their own mind, and the mind of another, with curiosity, openness, acceptance, and love.” This week we discuss developmental science and common obstacles and encouragers to using mindsight.

Week 7: Making Sense of Emotional Intelligence

This week is about emotional intelligence and empathy and how to use them in parenting. You practice listening to your body as I support you in exploring your feelings and sensations.

Week 8: Empowered Conversations

You learn about common obstacles to empowered communication and ten steps to connect in the way your longing for. I support you in connecting with your voice and understanding your relationship to it.

Week 9: Establishing Boundaries from Family Values

You learn about the PEACE process to support you in leading your children during hard moments with their stage of development in mind. I coach your through determining your family values and how to use them in setting boundaries with your children.

Week 10: Exploring Anger and Healthy Aggression

You have the opportunity to reflect on your experience of anger and aggression throughout your childhood and present day while learning how aggression is healthy, natural, and necessary when viewed through nervous system and brain science. You learn how to support yourself and your child through anger.

Week 11: Playful Parenting and Storytelling

This week is all about the value of playing with your children and how to access the powerful tool of storytelling. All while discovering your own language of play.

Week 12: Your Personal Transformation

Time to recognize and reflect upon the shifts that were made in you… and CELEBRATE this chapter in your journey of transformation!
